DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT - An Extension of our Service!

Development Management

SIP is often called upon to provide Development Management services to support and assist the Client in achieving project resolution to the point of precisely briefing the Professional Team as to their requirements. This normally involves the procurement of the appropriate property, the obtaining of the development rights, environmental approvals, along with all the related infrastructure required for the project. Assistance can also be provided for the procurement of leases or operating agreements for the ultimate occupier of the facilities with the co-ordination of tenant requirements etc.

Construction Management

Some building projects lend themselves to packaging under the control of a Construction Manager. Such projects often comprise the refurbishment of existing on-going operations where there is a relatively low value of main contractors' work and involvement. Construction management has the beneficial effect of avoiding high preliminary and general costs, plus unwarranted mark-ups on sub-contractors who constitute the bulk of the work.

In view of SIP's hands-on, project-driven approach, SIP is in the unique position of offering construction management - the management of on-site construction activity on selected projects, in appropriate circumstances, effecting meaningful savings in time and money.
